Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of AnkSetu, an IT-enabled software utility provided by Winspage Envoy OPC Pvt Ltd for preparing examination result data files for institutional workflows such as DigiLocker NAD uploads.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, uploading files, configuring mappings, or downloading generated files, you agree to these Terms. If you use AnkSetu for an institution, you confirm that you are authorised to process examination and student records on that institution's behalf.

2. Permitted Use

AnkSetu may be used only for lawful academic, administrative, and data-preparation purposes. You must not use the service to upload, store, generate, or transmit information that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, malicious, unauthorised, or inconsistent with applicable Indian law and government portal requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Administrators may create, disable, or reset user accounts where required for operational control. We may suspend access where misuse, security risk, unauthorised use, or violation of these Terms is suspected.

4. Uploaded Data and Output Files

You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and authority to process all uploaded examination data, student records, configuration values, generated CSV files, and ZIP archives. AnkSetu assists with formatting, validation, mapping, and export; it does not independently verify academic results, identity records, or eligibility for submission to any government or third-party portal.

5. DigiLocker NAD and Third-Party Portals

AnkSetu is not a government portal and is not an official service of DigiLocker, NAD, ABC, or any government authority unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. You are responsible for reviewing generated files before upload and for complying with all applicable portal rules, templates, credential requirements, and institutional approvals.

6. Security Responsibilities

You must use reasonable safeguards while handling uploaded sheets and generated files, including restricting access to authorised users, using strong passwords, downloading files only on trusted systems, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access or data incidents through the support channel communicated to you.

7. Intellectual Property

AnkSetu, including its software, interface, design, brand assets, documentation, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Winspage Envoy OPC Pvt Ltd. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for authorised internal purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

8. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve security, reliability, compliance, or functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption, but continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

9. Disclaimer

AnkSetu is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that generated files will be accepted by any third-party system, that all source data errors will be detected, or that use of the service alone will satisfy all legal, regulatory, academic, or portal-specific obligations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Winspage Envoy OPC Pvt Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special losses, including loss of data, loss of reputation, portal rejection, business interruption, or loss arising from inaccurate source data or unauthorised user activity.

11. Compliance With Law

You agree to comply with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable rules made under it, data protection requirements, contractual obligations, and lawful directions from competent authorities.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory legal requirement, courts having jurisdiction over the registered office or principal place of business of Winspage Envoy OPC Pvt Ltd will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to AnkSetu.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AnkSetu after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
